BEE POLLEN

£2.40

FOR SGS2 DIET.

Sugar gliders benefit from bee pollen because it closely mimics nutrients they would naturally consume in the wild. In their native environment (like Australian forests), sugar gliders eat pollen, nectar, and insects—so bee pollen helps replicate part of that natural foraging diet.

SGS2 DIET SUPPLEMENTS.

SGS Glider Calcium contains Magnesium and is an important addition to the diet.  It helps keep the bones healthy and calcium is required for all basic bodily functions.

The Magnesium converts vitamin D in to its active form which helps the body to absorb the calcium.  Magnesium also stimulates the production of calcitonin which encourages exess calcium to be drawn out of the blood stream and in to the bones.  This reduces the risk of calcium deficiency and kidney stones.

  • Mimics Natural intake.  In the wild, sugar gliders consume nectar and sap from trees. Gliderade is formulated to resemble that natural food source, helping provide a more species-appropriate diet in captivity.

  • Hydration Support
Gliderade is water-based and often flavoured, which encourages drinking—especially useful in hot climates or for gliders that don’t drink much on their own.

    Gliderade can help support:

    • Sick or recovering gliders

    • New arrivals adjusting to a new home

    • Gliders under heat or travel stress

NO NEED TO SOAK

Ground linseed can be used instead of brown linseed in the SGS 2 diet.

Normally we soak linseed in boiled water to soften the outer shell and allow the oils inside to be released.  With ground linseed you DO NOT NEED TO SOAK as the outer shell is already broken – just add a tablespoon to your fruit/veg mush.

Linseed contains a high amount of omega-3 fatty acids which are great for the fur as well as other nutrients and antioxidants.

SGS2 DIET SUPPLEMENT.

High Protein Wombaroo (HPW) is commonly used in sugar glider diets because it provides balanced, essential nutrition that supports their health in captivity.
