DRIED CANTALOUPE

Dried cantaloupe can be offered to Sugar Glider as an occasional treat.
Choose unsweetened dried cantaloupe with no added sugar, syrups, preservatives, or artificial sweeteners.
Drying concentrates the fruit's natural sugars, so dried cantaloupe contains much more sugar per bite than fresh cantaloupe.
Offer only small pieces and not as a daily food.
Fresh fruits are generally preferable because they provide more water and are less calorie-dense.
If your sugar glider has never had cantaloupe before, introduce a tiny amount first and watch for digestive upset.
For most pet sugar gliders, treats (including dried fruit) should make up only a small portion of the diet, with the main diet following a balanced feeding plan recommended by your veterinarian or the specific diet program you're using.
